Slow Food Illes Balears

The building blocks of Slow Food are local autonomous groups or chapters, called Convivium. They cultivate daily the joys of pleasurable and quality food, meeting regularly to share meals based on local products. They weave links with local producers, work to shorten distribution chains, promote local markets, set up taste education programmes in schools or encourage producers to participate in international events such as Terra Madre.

The events and programmes organized by the Convivia are occasions for the members to meet and share the passion that unites de whole Slow Food network. There are 1,300 convivia accross the world. 
Producers, co-producers and people related to the world of food, o simply those interested in the production of good, clean and fair food, participate in the Slow Food Illes Balears group.
